Grants to Iowa nonprofit organizations for programs to benefit the local community in the funding source's service area. Areas of focus include health, education, and income. Funding is intended for initiatives that have a positive impact on the community. Projects must be implemented in the W-SR Area United Way Service Area (Bremer County and part of Butler County).

Organizations may apply. New applicants must attach their 501(c)3 IRS Determination Letter.
Waverly-Shell Rock Area United Way does not support capital projects.
Application Process Timeline:
- Application Released: January 4, 2023
- Applications Due: Friday, March 17, 2023 at 4pm (Through Online Portal)
- Agency Hearings: April 5, 2023 (In-person time assigned between 9am-5pm)
- Award letters mailed: By June 1, 2023
An agency may submit an application for more than one program.
