60 Foundations that have given Nutrition and Food grants in Iowa

We support orphan causes and help orphans to have a place to live. This includes food programs, health care, clean water, Housing, education and adoption. We also educate people in the United States on orphan issues.

Provide humanitarian relief in the form of medical evaluation and care, dental care, nutritional assessment and care, food, medicines and other supplies; assistance in water project in rural areas; educational opportunities for disadvantaged children along with other non-specific charitable care to Honduras, Central America. The areas served are various, and the organization works closely with the Cerro de Plata Foundation, the Uno a Uno Foundation, Honduras Minister of Health (MoH) and other agencies that seek Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) assistance. The areas of principle concern are in La Montana de la Flor (MDLF), northetern Francisco Morazan department and home to the indigenous Tolupan, Nueva Capital SW of Tegucipalpa, and other rural areas in proximity to these areas. The Honduran Foundation Uno a Uno assists Mission Honduras Le Mars, Inc. in the implementation of various programs and the distribution of equipment, food, supplies and other cares.

THE TRUST PROVIDES FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF CLINTON AND TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE FOR SUCH ITEMS AS FOOD, RENT, MEDICAL CARE AND TUITION.

THE WAUKEE BETTERMENT FOUNDATION WAS FOUNDED TO PRESERVE AND GROW A HEALTHY WAUKEE COMMUNITY. WE DO THAT BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO AGENCIES AND PROJECTS THAT MAKE AN IMPACT ON THE WAUKEE AREA AND FOCUS ON THE KEYS TO GOOD LIVING. OUR AREAS OF FOCUS INCLUDE: COMMUNITY GATHERING PLACES, HEALTHY LIVING, PUBLIC ART, PARKS and RECREATION, ALL-INCLUSIVE AREAS, TRAILS, AND SOCIAL SERVICES. WE ARE AN ENTIRELY VOLUNTEER RUN ORGANIZATION, WITH LOW NON-PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSE NEEDS. DONATIONS TO THE WAUKEE BETTERMENT FOUNDATION HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL AND LASTING IMPACT TO THE COMMUNITY.
