Grant Description

Grants to Iowa nonprofit organizations to benefit residents in eligible locations. Focus areas include education, health, environment and animals, human services, societal benefit, and arts, culture, and heritage. Funding is intended for projects and programs to enhance the quality of life in Louisa County.

Applications will be scored on the following criteria: solution oriented/community benefit, innovation, detailed proposal/feasibility, collaboration, measurable impact, budget, matching funds, and sustainability. Please address these areas in your application.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

Grant awards will be paid to organizations with a 501(c)3 or equivalent IRS tax exempt status. If your organization is not a 501(c)3, but can partner with another organization that is, you can apply for funds using their designation as fiscal sponsor.
